About the perch
What is it made from?
Natural pine, sanded smooth and left unfinished. No paint, stain or varnish.
Will it suit my bird?
It's made for small to medium birds, including parakeets and budgies, lovebirds, parrotlets, cockatiels and conures.
What about bigger birds?
We're working on a larger perch with thicker 2 cm rods for Eclectus, quakers, Senegals and small Amazons. Join the waitlist on the Percheo Large Perch page and we'll email you the day it's ready.
How big is it, and what's in the box?
- Assembled size: 17.5 in long × 11 in wide × 12 in high
- Weight: about 3 lb
- Three removable perch rods: 5 in, 7 in and 10 in
- Adjustable mounting for most ledges up to 8 in deep
- Screwdriver for assembly
It arrives flat-packed and is simple to put together.
Setting up and cleaning
Do I need tools, glue or suction cups?
Use the included screwdriver for the center bolt. Slide the two support legs to fit your ledge, then tighten the mounting knobs by hand. No drilling, glue or suction cups needed, and nothing is left on the glass.
Can I attach it to my bird's cage?
Yes, if the cage has a suitable ledge or horizontal bars for the adjustable supports. Tighten both knobs by hand and check that the perch is stable before your bird uses it.
How do I clean off bird droppings?
Lightly spray the area with hot water and leave it for a few minutes to soften. Wipe with a damp cloth, then let the wood dry completely before your bird uses it again.
Adding your bird's name
Can you engrave my bird's name?
Yes! Choose 1 Name or 2 Names on the product page, then type each name exactly as you'd like it engraved. Plain Perch and 1 Name are $49.90; 2 Names is $53.90.
Can I return an engraved perch?
Only if it arrives damaged or faulty, so please double-check the spelling before adding it to your cart.
Shipping and returns
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is free on every US order, with no minimum. Express shipping is $19.90. We currently ship within the United States only.
When will my perch arrive?
We make and pack orders in 1–3 business days. After that, standard delivery takes about 2–5 business days, or 1–3 with Express. Most orders arrive in roughly a week.
What if I need to return it?
You can return an unused perch within 30 days. You'll need to cover return shipping. Personalized perches can only be returned if they arrive damaged or faulty. You'll find the full details in our refund policy.
